Paul McCartney - I'll Follow The Sun

Paul's mother died when he was 14. He wrote I'll Follow the Sun when he was 16. Following the sun may represent Paul's mother and her expectations for him. Paul loved women profoundly, and truly introduced feminism into rock-and-roll. All the Beatles songs held a profound respect for women. Paul is subconsciously saying that he'll always love his mother, and that she'll always lead him and motivate him. It was not a slight to the other women in his life, it spoke to his inner cord.
